The Promoting Revenue Transparency: 2011 Report on Oil and Gas Companies, published by Transparency International in partnership with Revenue Watch, rates 44 companies on their levels of transparency. Representing 60 per cent of global oil and gas production, the companies are evaluated in three areas: reporting on anti-corruption programs, organizational disclosure and country-level disclosure of financial and technical data.

Global Competitiveness Report 2011-2012

Switzerland tops the overall rankings in The Global Competitiveness Report 2011-2012, published by the World Economic Forum. Singapore overtakes Sweden for second position. Northern and Western European countries dominate the top 10. The results show that while competitiveness in advanced economies has stagnated over the past seven years, in many emerging markets it has improved, placing their growth on a more stable footing and mirroring the shift in economic activity from advanced to emerging economies.
